In the ITV soap opera, Kris Mochrie and Max Parker, who portrayed the brothers Lee and Luke Posner, respectively, shared their announcement on Instagram.
The two never really shared a scene, but they did get to know each other on set in 2019. After that, they began dating and made their relationship public in July 2020.
The pair flaunted their stunning new ring on Instagram after Parker proposed in 2022. Parker said, “[Kris] deserves the world, but the best I could do was promise him my heart.” Yes, he replied. The best time of my life.
The pair announced on Instagram once more that August 7th of next year will be their wedding day. Mochrie made a joke, saying, “365 days, 365 things to do.”
Soon after meeting, the couple started dating and “spent a lot of time together” after they both left the ITV program.
The Sun: “They’ve been joking that casting did a great job because they were cast as brothers and look a lot alike.” Even when Kris’s stint on the program ended, the guys remained in contact, but they’ve been spending a lot of time together this summer. They seem to be having a great time, and who knows what the future may bring.
In order to exact revenge on Posner for what he did to his sister Victoria, Mochrie, who previously had a brief run on the soap opera Brookside located in Liverpool, portrayed Emmerdale rapist Lee, who was killed by Robert Sugden.
Parker, who has previously been in Casualty and the BBC’s popular wartime drama World on Fire, remained on Emmerdale until 2021, although Mochrie departed the show in 2019. Parker may return in the future.
