Sarah was found to have Fanconi anemia, a rare hereditary illness that progressed to leukemia.

Prior to this, Debbie had been falsely imprisoned for the murder of PC Shane Doyle—which, in reality, was the work of Jasmine Thomas.

In a different plot, Cain Dingle, played by Jeff Hordley, the grandfather of Sarah, was accused of killing Michael Wildman’s character, Al Chapman.

Actually, Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn), Cain’s son, was the one who had done it.

Unfortunately for Harry, Charity was able to murder him in order to save Mackenzie, therefore his plot failed.
