The newest couple on Emmerdale have had a difficult journey, but they have now reached the best part!

Vinny and Gabby’s relationship appears to be flourishing. After first finding it difficult to express their emotions, Vinny (Bradley Johnson) fought his insecurities about being a virgin.

When Gabby (Rosie Bentham) pushed him too hard, too soon, and his shame caused him to lose control, his concerns almost came to naught as Gabby fled. Fortunately, though, she was able to hear him out, and they started going.

And there came the snog, which gave me the assurance that everything was on schedule.

Now, however, is the big moment: they get into bed together while overcoming their concerns associated with their first night.

It’s an odd pair.

It appears to be a success since two years after Liv’s death, Vinny tells Aaron (Danny Miller) all that has occurred to him. Aaron is pleasantly happy that his former brother-in-law is finally letting go of Liv.

But now that Vinny has done the deed, concern over it is starting to set in, the sexier counterpart of the beer phobia.

In a cruel twist of karma, Charity (Emma Atkins) belittles Vinny for his inexperience, which just makes him worry more. However, when she realizes what she’s done to him, she feels horrible about it.

Vinny is really anxious about this crucial next phase in his and Gabby’s relationship, particularly considering their disparate backgrounds.

It’s cute, you have to admit

He need not worry, though. His lack of bed post notches is by no means a turnoff for Gabby, who is already sufficiently aroused for the two of them. His fears vanish the moment she embraces him and gives him a huge snog.

As they go ahead and get closer as a team, pushing Thomas on the swings, it’s a significant time for them both.

Vinny is well on his way to becoming a stepfather, having popped the cherry. What comes next for this adorable duo?
