Fans of EMMERDALE were in full disbelief at the one-time star’s actual age.
For his part as bartender Gavin Ferris in the enduring ITV soap opera, Robert Beck is well-known.
He made several months of appearances in Emmerdale in 1999 before leaving the serial opera before the year 2000.
Later, in 2023, the actor returned to the serial opera, this time playing a different role as Damon Harris.
During his career, he has also made noteworthy appearances on Waterloo Road, Hollyoaks, and Brookside.
However, he celebrated his 56th birthday today with his wife, Jane Danson, an actress from Coronation Street.
After entering the serial drama in 1997, she became well-known for her portrayal of Leanne Battersby, a role who lasted for a long time.
The couple got married in 2005 and has two boys together.
However, today Jane, 45, celebrated her husband’s birthday on social media, helping him to mark a significant occasion.
She updated her Instagram grid page with two pictures of her longtime companion.
One attractive old photo and one more recent one were in the little album.
In the second picture, Robert was grinning while having lunch in a far-off place.
The brief album’s caption said, “Happy birthday, my 56-year-old @robertbeck529! I will always love you.”
His true age surprised fans so much that they had to flood the comments area.
“Looks more like 46,” an admirer said, adding an emoji of astonishment to go along with it.
A second user said, “Aging like a fine wine,”
A third, meanwhile, said, “56!!! He still has a youthful appearance!”
A fourth fan, nevertheless, joked, saying, “Happy Birthday, Rob. You look much younger than 56, and @realjanedanson clearly takes good care of you.”
A fifth person said, “Ohhhhhh I used to have him on my bedroom wall when I was a teenager.”
“He still looks great xxx,” they continued.
