Since joining the cast of EastEnders, Laila Rouass has discussed whether or not her character Ayesha Siddhu would ultimately cause Suki Panesar and Eve Unwin to fall out of love.
Laila Rouass, an EastEnder, has revealed Ayesha Siddhu’s genuine sentiments for Suki Panesar.
In the episode that aired on Monday, August 5, Nish Panesar took Ayesha to Walford after learning that Suki (Balvinder Sopal) and his son Vinny (Shiv Jalota) were conspiring to bring him down.
Subsequently, it was shown that Suki had long harbored emotions for Ayesha. Because Nish believed Ayesha’s husband Hardeep was having an extramarital affair, he murdered him.
Nish’s most recent scheme backfired when Ayesha admitted to Suki that she had feelings for her at the time as well. The two ladies then formed an alliance to face Nish and foil his most recent plot.

Laila Rouass, an actress from EastEnders, has revealed Ayesha Siddhu’s genuine love for Suki Panesar.
During her appearance on ITV’s This Morning, Laila spoke about her most recent role on the BBC serial opera, describing her as “intelligent, smart, and incredibly kind.” It’s unpredictable and anything may happen. They allow you to fully flesh out the persona, so that was quite enjoyable.”
Laila paused before responding, “They’re just friends, that’s all I’m saying,” when asked about Ayesha’s love for Suki. They have a strong friendship. Since Nish is dying, she has a lot on her plate, but Suki is someone she knows well.”

In later scenes, Suki’s partner Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) may become even more envious of their closeness; would this lead to Eve forcing Suki into Ayesha’s arms? Laila acknowledged that it was “a real shock” for Ayesha to finally meet Suki in person after all these years, following her shocking debut.
The actor clarified, “She’s had a lot to deal with since she last saw Suki.” She truly ought to have had a voice in what transpired after her husband was killed, but she was never given the opportunity. She accepted to meet Nish when he reached out to her because of this.

Ayesha’s primary feeling at the time was fury, and there was no room for her to communicate with Suki amid that wrath. Now that they are finally face to face again, there are many levels of emotions.”
Laila had earlier said that her time on EastEnders had been “everything and more” than she had imagined. “I’ve always wanted to do EastEnders, and when it was offered to me, I thought, ‘There is no chance I’m not doing this because I have to experience it once in my lifetime’,” she recalled. I’ve never been more eager to go to work as I am now. It was such a wonderful pleasure for me to be a part of EastEnders, since it seems like a part of British television history.”
