EastEnders On Wednesday, Bobby Brazier—who portrays Freddie Slater in the serial opera—was spotted in London with former X Factor contestant Virginia Hampson.
On Wednesday, July 31, EastEnders star Bobby Brazier, 20, appeared content as he strolled across London in the sunlight holding hands with former X Factor contestant Virginia Hampson, igniting speculation that they are dating. Virginia’s most well-known credits are from her participation in the 2019 season of The X Factor: The Band, when she was placed in the female group Real Like You, or RLY, who ultimately won the competition.
The members of RLY were Halle Williams, Jess Foley, Kyra West, Kellimarie Willis, Seorsia Jack, Luena Martinex, and Virginia. They parted up to pursue individual careers after the event, releasing singles including Superpower, Safe & Sound, Ring The Alarm, and Love Me Or Not.
Virginia and Bobby were seen together while out and about in London; they were seen holding hands and exchanging kisses as they made their way to the tube.
Bobby was previously connected to Ella Morgan from Married at First Sight and Ellie Leach from Coronation Street after they were pictured together at the TV BAFTAS in May.
Known for his role as Freddie Slater in EastEnders, Bobby finished second in the previous season of Strictly Come Dancing alongside partner Dianne Buswell.
The actor, who was nominated for a Best Newcomer National Television Award for his portrayal of Freddie, recently participated in Soccer Aid 2024 on a football pitch with a number of celebrities and former NFL players to raise money for Unicef. Bobby received training assistance from his father, Jeff Brazier, prior to the well-known bout.
“I believe my father is more thrilled than I am,” Bobby remarked before to the match. It’s up to me to train and get the highest level of fitness possible for the game. He gave me a hard workout when we recently went to the gym,” he continued. “My dad is an excellent football player; he coached my teams when I was growing up, and we always improved as a unit.”
In addition, Bobby has been filming a new part for Paramount+’s TV series Curfew, which will premiere on streaming services in November. Based on Jayne Cowie’s novel After Dark, the film was filmed in London earlier this year. It takes place in a world where males are subject to “The Women’s Safety Act,” which requires them to wear ankle tags and adhere to a tight curfew that keeps them inside their houses until 7 p.m. every night.
Veteran police officer Pamela Green feels a man must be at fault when a woman is brutally murdered during curfew hours, but if that’s the case, her investigation may jeopardize the curfew itself, and there are powerful people who will stop at nothing to ensure that doesn’t happen.
Sarah Parish plays the lead role of Pamela, while Bobby Brazier portrays James, a talkative student who wants the curfew to be lifted.
