In the next week, EastEnders will introduce a new romantic angle to the plot surrounding Cindy Beale and Junior Knight’s romance.

George almost put a stop to Cindy and Junior’s romance last week. After a furious disagreement, the two made up with a fumble in the restrooms.

Scenes featuring George, the father of Junior and Cindy’s ex-partner, will be aired in the upcoming episodes. George will keep pressuring Gina to discover the identity of Junior’s mystery lady. At Beale’s Eels, Cindy saw her attempting to access Junior’s phone. After Gina reveals the information, Cindy informs Junior.

Later, when Junior fails to show up for a scheduled covert meeting, a furious Cindy goes to The Vic. She witnesses Junior presenting Maxine, his date, to the family there.

Cindy learns from Gina that Junior had slept with her, despite Junior’s best efforts to convince her that he brought Maxine along just to confuse George. When she gives him the cold shoulder, he says Cindy is being dramatic. Cindy throws Junior an ultimatum, making him even more irritated: if he’s with her, he’s only with her.

Making sure Cindy can hear the talk, Junior approaches Gina and informs her that his relationship with Maxine is not going anywhere. She seems so happy.

Unaware of who he is giving the advise to, George offers Junior some dating guidance in the interim.
