Ayesha is in Walford now.
In the most recent episode of EastEnders, Suki Panesar had an emotional reunion.
Watchers witnessed last week how Nish, having learned of Suki and Vinny’s treachery, devised a fresh scheme to get revenge, recruiting Avani to assist in finding Suki’s old acquaintance Ayesha.
Tonight’s broadcast of BBC Two has Nish giving his granddaughter $100 as a reward for her hard work. In addition, he expressed to Ravi his desire to use his remaining time to make amends with others.
Eve cautioned Suki and Vinny that their plan was too dangerous, but they were certain he was still unaware of their betrayal.
After Ayesha confirmed her attendance, Ravi told Nish that Suki and Vinny had made a reservation for lunch at the restaurant. He then had an idea.
Nish appeared while the two were talking about their strategy, and Ayesha followed shortly after, much to Suki’s dismay.
To put things in perspective, Ayesha is the widow of Hardeep, the man Nish killed over twenty years ago on the suspicion that he and Suki were having an affair, even though Ayesha was the one she was truly in love with.
Suki followed Ayesha, who was still upset with Nish and Suki, and informed her that she wasn’t a part of Nish’s plan because they were now divorced.
After their tearful conversation back at the house, Suki acknowledged that she had let Nish to believe she was seeing Hardeep and that she was to blame for his passing.
Ayesha said that Suki felt the same way about her and that she had always knew she was homosexual until finding the confidence to come out following Hardeep’s passing.
When Ayesha refused to feel sorry for Nish and they confronted him jointly, the two came to an understanding, leaving Nish frustrated that his plan had not worked.
Suki invited Ayesha to stay, and the two of them went to The Vic for a drink with Eve. However, Eve felt uneasy because of their shared past friendship.
When Nish came, she informed Eve that Suki had come out as homosexual, sowing the seeds of doubt about Suki and Ayesha’s relationship.
“I guess you could say that she was Suki’s first love,” he said. “I just hope it’s not a problem for you.”
How will Eve respond when she watches Suki and Ayesha get back together?
