But the story has a twist.
Phil arrives at Sonia and Reiss’s apartment enraged since the money deadline has arrived. Reiss acknowledges to Sonia that he should be paying Phil back today but is unable to do so. Sonia pleads with Sharon to buy them some time, and Teddy and Sharon step in.
Teddy chooses to assume Phil’s debt. Reiss shakes his head at the bargain, hoping it’s not too good to be true, despite his disbelief.
Gina, in the meantime, carries out George’s orders by attempting to identify Junior’s mystery woman. Cindy notices Gina attempting to access Junior’s phone and alerts him.
Later, Cindy discovers Junior bringing his girlfriend, Maxine, to his family, and she becomes envious. She is told, adamantly, that he is only attempting to confuse his family.
Harvey is exerting excessive pressure on himself in other places as he tries to provide for Maya.
Additionally, Kathy tells Phil that Ben is not doing well when she gets back from the US. Ian has made the decision to remain in the US for a little while longer in the hopes of finding Ben a better appellate attorney.
