Caleb Milligan from Emmerdale is adamant about ruining Kim Tate, but viewers are sure that his retaliation scheme would fail.

Caleb Milligan made a “blunder” when he tried to take down Kim Tate, and Emmerdale viewers have picked it out.

Recently, the beloved character from the soap opera, William Ash, has been hatching schemes against Kim Tate, the local antagonist (Claire King).

When Caleb initially arrived in the Dales in 2022, he had grand plans to ruin Kim since he thought she was to blame for his father’s passing. He has subsequently made himself at home in the community, however Kim managed to frustrate his plot.

Nevertheless, Ruby, Caleb’s wife, has been pursuing Kim more recently. She does this by using Rose Jackson, played by Christine Tremarco, to instigate conflict between Kim and her husband Will Taylor, played by Dean Andrews.

Jimmy King has been conned out of his business by Caleb Milligan.

To Ruby’s pleasure, Caleb also revealed his most recent scheme to depose Kim last week. Caleb intends to purchase land adjacent to Home Farm in an attempt to establish “an empire right here on her doorstep” as Kim believes she is the “lady of the manor.”

In addition, Caleb is defrauding Jimmy King (Nick Miles) of his own company as part of a plot to get revenge on Kim. Jimmy sent Rodney (Patrick Mower) on a haulage trip last week, and when he got back, he found the shipment was disappeared.

Jimmy was unaware that Caleb had really taken the items; he subsequently admitted to his wife Ruby that he needed vehicles for his new business. Fans will remember that Kim and Will own Jimmy’s firm equally, therefore Caleb feels no shame in deceiving them.

After subtly buying a traffic examiner to check Jimmy’s company, Caleb discovered a mismatch in the documents they were required to maintain.

Fans have noticed Caleb’s grave error.

Viewers were able to observe that the traffic examiner was employed by Caleb; nevertheless, when the examiner attempted to obtain further compensation for his work, Caleb informed him that “that’s not how I do business” and would not pay him anything at all.

Viewers are aware that if Caleb makes a mistake, his strategy might backfire on him as his retaliation intensifies. Fans pointed out on social media that Caleb had paid Jimmy, and that the traffic inspector could have simply told Jimmy the truth about it being a phony.

“Perhaps the inspector guy will go back to Jimmy and say it was set up through Caleb since he didn’t get paid,” a fan wrote on an Emmerdale Facebook page.

A second person said, “I knew Caleb & the inspector were working together,” while a third said, “I was thinking this as well, didn’t think it through did he.”
