Emmerdale watchers are certain that two villagers are going to have an incestuous connection.
Viewers of Emmerdale believe that an incest twist will shock the Dales.
John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth), a recent addition, made a dramatic entrance and quickly stirred up some controversy.
The enigmatic newcomer has already become involved in a conflict with Danny Miller’s character, Aaron Dingle, and Lawrence Robb’s character, Mackenzie Boyd, with whom John had an affair.
As viewers will remember, John first met Aaron in his opening moments; later, the two shared a vehicle and slept there. Aaron was furious when the newcomer left, leaving his wallet and keys inside the car.
When Aaron learned that John was the half-brother of his ex-husband Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), he became even more enraged.
But, Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins), who is thrilled to have a sibling, is one of the villagers who is overjoyed to see John. She is eager to get to know him.
Her hospitality was so great that she even gave John a place to stay while his van—which he called home—was being fixed at the shop.
John, however, has stated that he does not wish to interact with her or the other Sugden family members.
However, in a stunning turn of events, fans believe Victoria is beginning to develop feelings for her half-brother John and believe a romance is imminent.
On X, someone asked, “John & Frau Vic incest story incoming?” to which another user answered, “I hope not,” and then they both displayed the sick face emoji. “We getting an incest storyline not had one of those in a soap for a while, unless Eastenders had one,” pondered a third as well.
The Dingles are only one of several incestuous relationships that Emmerdale has previously aired.
In the 1990s, Mandy Dingle wed her own cousin Butch, while Cain Dingle also had an affair with Charity Dingle. Debbie Dingle was the couple’s kid.
