Kris Mochrie of Emmerdale has disclosed that he and his fiancé Max Parker have decided to tie the knot in August 2025.
The 39-year-old soap opera actor announced the news on his Instagram Stories two years after 32-year-old Max proposed on a gorgeous beach two years prior.
On the ITV soap opera, Kris plays Lee Posner and Max plays Luke Posner. Both actors are attractive and portray brothers.
Kris shared on Instagram Stories, writing, “365 days to go & 365 things to do,” next to an emoji of a wedding ring.
Even though they had never appeared in a scene together on Emmerdale, a relationship formed behind the scenes that eventually led to romance.
Max posted on Instagram to announce their engagement in 2022, saying, “He deserves the world, but the best I could do was promise him my heart.” HE ASSENTED “YES.”

The pair posted a cute kissing photo on social media and celebrated with champagne on the beach.
Additionally, Max shared a little video of him proposing to the ring bearer. Following their embrace and kiss, they rejoice as a couple.
In his tweet announcing his engagement, Kris stated, “My best friend, a beautiful soul, asked me to marry him yesterday.” There are no words to express how thrilled I am.

It happens after Max revealed his coming-out narrative in 2020, stating, “I feel comfortable now knowing that I am gay!” after confirming his relationship with co-star Kris.
The couple ignited dating rumors in the summer when they posted a photo of themselves sunbathing on Instagram after enjoying a wet trek.
Although they never appeared in a scene together, Kris and Max became friends backstage before their relationship took off. They met on the soap opera.
Speaking about his relationship with Kris, Max told Attitude magazine that even though they first connected on the Emmerdale set, he didn’t send Kris a direct message until he saw her on Tinder.
Regarding their initial encounter, Max remarked, “He was filming his last day on site… It was our first encounter together. I thought he was really attractive, even though I was unaware that he was gay.
Later, thinking that this would be a good idea to give Tinder a try, I got on it and noticed him there. Thinking that this was a sign, I decided to initiate contact by messaging him on Instagram.
“I had no idea he was gay or that he would have feelings for me, but he did.”
