In recent episodes of the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, viewers saw Laurel Sharma approach Jai Sharma for a divorce, and some believe he would turn against her.
According to fan beliefs, Chris Bisson’s character Jai Sharma in Emmerdale is hatching a cunning plan for his former wife, Laurel Thomas, played by Charlotte Bellamy.
The breakup of Jai and Laurel’s marriage was recently shown on the soap opera, following Jai’s admission that he had blackmailed his biological father, Amit Sharma (Anil Goutam), for a piece of the company.
After learning this, Jai’s half-brother Suni (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana) lost his share, and Laurel became enraged at Jai’s cunning behavior, which led her to break up with him.

In recent episodes, viewers watched Laurel want a divorce, which grieved and infuriated Jai. When he started disregarding and causing issues for Laurel at work, his resentment immediately became apparent.
However, fans are now worried that after the divorce demand, the plot may take a sinister turn. There are rumors that Jai may attempt to abduct Laurel, which would follow the plot from 2014 in which he imprisoned Charity (Emma Atkins).
There is a lot of conjecture on the social networking site X, formerly known as Twitter: “Is this the start of Jai going full villain?,” said one user. According to the Express, another person conjectured, “So is Laurel gonna end up in Jai’s storage box where he kept Charity.”

And still another reminded us, “I haven’t forgotten that he kidnapped and tortured Charity, keeping her in a shipping container for a week.”
“Watch him do that Laurel next,” one follower said as they entered the discussion, while another said, “Laurel needs to watch out, but it’s probably too late.”
The actor Chris has already talked about how his role changed as he went through personal struggle.

He gave an explanation, saying, “[This] has altered something within him, and moving forward, it may have an impact on how he perceives relationships, people, and life.In addition to this, his business strategy is probably going to change.”
“I think he is going to become a bit more ruthless,” Chris continued. He believes that he was somewhat taken advantage of and that this will never happen to him again. Thus, perhaps Bad Jai is returning.
