Fans of Emmerdale think John Sugden has a secret identity after he shockingly revealed to Victoria in the most recent episodes, “I’m not your brother!”
John Sugden revealed a surprise in the most recent episode of ITV’s Emmerdale, sparking rumors about who he really is.
Since a previous figure connected to John’s father, Jack Sugden, had the same surname as Aidan, many have speculated that he could genuinely be a guy named Aidan Moore.
This has sparked hysterical rumors that John (Oliver Farnworth) is keeping a huge secret.
John was seen with army dog tags bearing Aidan’s name on Tuesday’s episode (August 13), which he hastily concealed from his sister Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins). He obviously didn’t want them to be seen by anyone.
John remained silent regarding his history and his experience in the army on Wednesday, August 14. The dog tags had vanished from sight, and there were no further hints as to Aidan’s identity, his possible whereabouts, or if John was a fraud.
John did, however, say something to Victoria that would reveal his true intentions. It may have been a mean comment meant to injure her or let her know he wasn’t interested in staying, but it could also be seen as an acknowledgement that he is lying about who he is.
Victoria attempted to connect with her long-lost sibling, but he became irrational and distant from her. He continued by saying: “I’m not Harry’s uncle or your brother, I’m just someone who is passing through.”
Though he may be acting tough by denying Victoria entry, might this be a major hint from the program that he isn’t John Sugden after all?
Is he related to any of the Sugden family, including ‘the genuine’ John or even the mysterious Aidan?
This occurs after followers believed they had figured out John’s true identity and conjectured that he may be Aidan posing as John. Viewers wondered if Aidan was pretending to be John, someone he knew, in order to get away from the army after noticing the dog tags.
“I wonder if he has siblings on his mother’s side,” an admirer said. “Hmm, ex lover who maybe died?” inquired a second person.
Another admirer postulated: “I wonder who that was, Aiden Moore. Perhaps a past relationship of John’s.” “Who’s that a boyfriend that died or he killed him?” said another.
“I suppose Emmerdale is going to take the most foreseeable path for John; he must have lost his love or something,” a fourth person said. Do we have any sympathy for him? All I want is for him to go.”
Those that are interested in learning the truth will have to tune in!
