On August 1, The Original Baker paid a special visit to the actors and staff of the popular Yorkshire soap opera Emmerdale at ITV Studios in Leeds, delivering a range of their famed baked delicacies.
The Original Baker’s spokesman stated: “With lots of Yorkshire-made pasties and pies, they ensured that no one left hungry as the celebrations for Yorkshire Day got underway.
“ITV staff members really enjoyed the Hog Roast Roll, which was made by hand with luscious Bramley apples, soft pulled pork, and flavorful sage and onion. The crunchy crackling topping was a hit.
“The Chili Jam Pork Pie, which had soft pork and smoky bacon with sweet chilli jam on top and a golden hot water crust pastry shell, was another hit with the crowd. The award-winning product was so impressive that attendees bought extra copies to enjoy at home.
“The Original Baker is incredibly proud of its Yorkshire heritage. They use traditional methods and time-tested recipes in their manufacturing, acquiring essential products from nearby vendors, such as Driffield wheat for their distinctive pastry.
“Seeing ITV staff and well-known TV stars thoroughly enjoying their artisan goods was a true delight for everyone involved.”
