Although there would be drama in the scenario, some fans don’t think it would be the best course of action.
Fans of EMMERDALE have begged the show’s executives not to include a “predictable” romance in the storyline.
Oliver Farnworth, a former cast member of Coronation Street, has joined the other long-running ITV soap opera as John Sugden.
The figure will be revealed to be a long-lost relative of Isabel Hodgins’s character Victoria Sugden, who has been a cast member of the show since 1994.
Enthusiastic fans are already concerned about how the authors will include John into the story before he ever arrives.
A fan mentioned in a post on an internet site that Aaron Dingle, who plays Danny Miller, was a significant part of a teaser that promoted John’s film debut.
They wrote: “Please don’t tell me that Aaron’s suffering is going to be placed on another Sugden man?
“Or is he just being nosey because a relative of his ex husband has turned up?”
“It seems like Aaron is good to take an interest in him,” said an additional person.
“I sincerely hope that’s not the path they take. It would be too foreseeable.
“Plus, if it means giving Aaron more screen time, it’s a no from me.”
Meanwhile, a third fan offered a hypothesis as to why John the character was initially developed.
They stated: “If he is going to be a love interest for Aaron it makes you wonder if they tried to get Ryan Hawley back and failed so created a new Sugden to try and recreate Robron.”
One more admirer yelled, “Poor John.” Already, I’m sorry for him. Another intriguing figure that Aaron Dingle’s lack of personality is destined to bring down.”
Oliver previously stated the following on joining the Emmerdale cast: “I am overjoyed to be joining the cast of Emmerdale.”
“The Sugden family plays a crucial role in the show’s extensive past.
“I’m looking forward to bringing my character to life and working with such a talented and dedicated team.”
During his time on Corrie, the actor portrayed the tragically dead Andy Carver, who was murdered in 2017 by the evil Pat Phelan (Connor McIntyre).
In the narrative, Aaron previously had a two-year marriage to Ryan Hawley’s character, Robert Sugden.
They became well-known as “Robron” and were connected for the first time in 2014, following Robert’s return to the hamlet.
In the end, Robert went on the run in his departure plot, having accidentally killed Lee Posner (Kris Mochrie).
Victoria had been sexually assaulted by the evil auto salesperson, who then boasted about having done it.
